Henri Cash-Finlay is an Australian artist and curator living in Berlin. His practice primarily employs photography as a means of documenting and honouring the small and unmade in the everyday. It is through this lens that he investigates the role of the environment and genealogy in generating concepts of place and personhood.

In 2025 Henri founded AREA, an initiative established to coordinate and facilitate contemporary art commissions for artists working against systemic challenges. AREA provides space for artists to explore new methods of work not possible without additional resourcing and is currently focused on supplementing Indigenous Australian Art Centres with curatorial, administrative and material support.
